While perusing Southern Living Weddings (yee-haw), I came across an amazing and unique idea for capturing wedding day memories. This couple commissioned an artist to PAINT their ceremony.

My first thought was, how the heck can he get it all done in time? Here’s how:
The artist will show up before the ceremony begins and sketch out the background/scene. If you think about it, your ceremony takes place with its players in relatively the same location throughout. After sketching the background, he will work throughout the ceremony (or reception) to capture the guests and the bride and groom. He will also continue to finalize the painting which is an exciting opportunity for your guests to watch it come to life. It takes approximately 5 hours to complete, so you can be presented with a finalized painting on your wedding day! If your wedding already took place, an artist can be hired to capture your favorite photo on canvas!
